- You will complete a detailed recording of the observations you made during these sessions and will liaise with social workers, escalating any concerns, as required.
- You will be joining a child focussed, creative and supportive team, with a strong emphasis upon being a good corporate parent.
- Transport and escort children and young people.
- Observe and supervise contact between children, young persons and parents, including other family members.
- Risk managing and intervening as necessary to safeguard children.
- You will have good report writing skills to factually describe observations within the contact session within the agreed time scale.
- To attend and participate in planning meetings or reviews, as required.
- To follow safeguarding procedures of our client and its clients at all times.
- To report any safeguarding concerns promptly
- To attend supervision and training courses in relation to the tasks, as required.
- NVQ level 3 in children and young people workforce or related fields integral
- A current DBS for working with adults and children - we can assist you
- A driving licence and access to a car is desirable but not essential

The successful candidate's will be joining a very dynamic team delivering a crucial service to families. No direct experience is necessary as full training is provided.In this challenging but highly rewarding role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and supervising family time between children and their birth families at contact centres and also out and about within the community.
