    £29,000 - £32,000 (DOE) + Company Vehicle + Bonus / Benefits
    The Client
    My client is a company that specialises in complete drainage and plumbing services to corporate clients managing domestic and small commercial drainage failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients' needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse or a burst water pipe.
    Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out and resolve all drainage works in domestic & commercial properties (internal and external)
    • Carry out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of customer's drains – internal and external
    • High pressure water jetting
    • CCTV surveys to trace and locate blockages
    • Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise
    • Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures
    • Accurately record work details via internal and client systems
    • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
    The Requirements
    • You must have an excellent background in the drainage sector.
    • Basic plumbing skills are an advantage.
    • Relevant in-date drainage tickets, such as HPWJ, Confined Spaces are very desirable.
    • CCTV camera investigation knowledge – very desirable
    • Knowledge and capability of drain repair works (patching / lining / reinstatement works) would be an advantage.
    • You will be required to work emergency on call – 1 week in 4 – Monday to Monday (from 5pm)
    • Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal record and DVLA check due to client work premises.
    • Full UK driving licence, no more than 6 points.

    • Overtime rate is time and a half, Sunday and bank holiday – double time (Working a Bank holiday on call also gives a day in lieu)
    • The on-call rota is 1 in 4 as a contractual minimum – soon to be 1 in 5
    • The on-call pay is 25% of the labour element of the job, the average hourly on call is around £23.00 p/h
