Exciting opportunity to be a member of a business-aligned compliance team instrumental in supporting Macquarie Capital, private business for EMEA.

The role is business aligned and you will have responsibility for oversight and execution of compliance monitoringcoupled with transaction compliance advice in areas of MIFID services and cross border considerations.

This is a unique role and your responsibilities will extend to reviewing incidents and breaches for EMEA Macquarie Capital staff and compliance training for EMEA staff in terms of new hire, refresher and other general compliance topics.

You will also act asa liaison with central compliance and other Risk Management Groups for matters relating to Macquarie Capital.

Reviewing new product approvals for compliance across conflicts and regulations relating to licensing risk and the Market Abuse Regime coupled withfacilitation of individual licensing requirements factor into the role from a central compliance perspective.

You will be involved in Macquarie Capital compliance group -wide projects in joint collaboration with Macquarie Capital Central compliance.

You willalso be leading on creating new policies and procedures and updating existing policies as a direct result of regulatory change and changes to the business model.

You will have extensive stakeholder management experience coupled with strong interpersonal skills, initiative and a good eye for detail will be important in this role.

You will be able to work in a fast-paced business environment and identify key regulatorydevelopments across the business and possess a partnership mentality.

You must be comfortable working in a team environment whilst also possessing the ability to work remotely and independently to achieve deadlines.

You will come from a financial services,private equity, asset management or related regulatory function.

The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralized unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed.

Its divisions include Behavioural Risk, Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit,Market Risk, Operational Risk, Regulatory Affairs and Aggregate Risk, and RMG Enterprise Support.
