The system administrator plays a vital role in collaborating on IT infrastructure projects across EMEA and globally.As part of a team, you will design and implement solutions to technology challenges as well as provide 3rd line support across Hologic's on-premises and cloud-based estate.
Troubleshoot/resolve hardware and software issues with Windows systems as neededMonitor Windows server performance and availability
Promote and maintain server patch management practices
Monitor server load and implement load balancing when needed
Identify, upgrade, and replace server hardware where appropriate
Conduct periodic HA/DR planning exercises as required
Manage and participate in projects as assigned and work with team members across the company to deliver project goals.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent is desirableProfessional certifications -Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix is desirable
Windows Server experience
Ability to oversee the development and execution of detailed project plans
Self-directed and capable of working on several projects and efforts simultaneously
