Are you a Support Worker seeking full-time or part-time work in Burnley

Due to an increase in demand, we are looking for confident Support Workers to work within our clients' residential homes, in Burnley

This is an exciting opportunity to gain immediate work in a fantastic local home and is a great way to increase your workload at a pace that suits you.

The home is a small residential service for Children with SEMH needs.

As a service that pspecialise in providing support to children and young people who may have a range of complex needs, emotional and behavioural issues or who are engaged with the YouthOffending Service.

We have proven and sustained success in providing long-term placements for children and young people who previously have not been able to maintain foster or residential placements, preventing the need for referrals o secure units.

Our residentsmay have additional barriers to living and learning, such as social and communicative needs and may be vulnerable due to a risk of self-injurious or challenging behaviours.

We aim to ensure that our young people feel safe and valued whilst living in theirhome.

Responsibilities and requirements include:

Professionalism, positive attitude, and patience.
Commitment to quality care.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Key skills & Experience:

SEN experience (Autism ,Challenging behaviour, life skills)
Strong behaviour management
One to one and small group work
Professional manor
Enthusiasm and friendly approach
Manual handling
Care certificate completed (Or willing to work towards care certificate)

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained

You must have legal right to work in the UK

You must be willing to attend a registration interview
