    Role Overview:
    Senior Development Manager

    An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced, ambitious, and self-motivated individual to join our UK development team as a Senior Development Manager.

    In this role, you will oversee sites from our extensive multi-gigawatt pipeline of solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, guiding them through the Ready to Build stage.

    Additionally, you will support the mid and late-stage development of newly originated projects, collaborating closely with internal teams, landowners, consultants, and stakeholders.

    This senior, hands-on position offers the opportunity to coach and mentor junior team members and provides long-term career growth prospects.

    Direct management of solar and BESS project development.
    Collaboration with internal grid, planning, and development support teams to progress sites and mitigate risks.
    Liaison with landowners, grid network operators, and planning authorities.
    Regular updates of development tools and reporting progress to the UK Head of Development.
    Mentorship and support for junior team members.
    Assistance to the origination team in maintaining project flow through the development pipeline.
    Stay informed about policy/regulation developments and advise on potential impacts.
    Support project sales processes or project transfer to third-party investors or construction.
    Detailed knowledge and experience of UK solar and BESS project development processes.
    Specific knowledge of later-stage development processes, project handover, or sales.
    Problem-solving skills with a creative mindset.
    Self-motivated with excellent workload management and communication skills.
    Collaborative attitude with the ability to work with remote colleagues.
    Commercial awareness and acumen.
    Proficiency in Google Sheets and G-Suite software.
    UK driving license and existing right to live and work in the UK.
