MTrec's New Opportunity;

The Job You'll do;

  • Understand and work in accordance with UK mandatory requirements for HS&E
  • Performance measurement of processes to identify any problems or opportunity to improve
  • Work centre cycle time and capacity calculation
  • Development of improvement plans
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to implement improvements
  • Application of practical problemsolving techniques
  • Management of improvement teams
  • Collaborate with Project team on the introduction of new processes
  • Development of workflow to best effect
  • Planning & coordination of equipment moves or new installation on site
  • Industrialisation of tools and equipment
  • Development of SOP for new processes.
  • Management of process master data
  • Management of FMEA for all products
  • Liaising with tool and equipment suppliers for the management of existing processes and introduction new processes
  • Liaising with customers in the management of process performance.

About you;

  • Demonstrable experience of process engineering
  • Effective communicator able to report at all levels
  • Have demonstrated experience of practical problem solving
  • Demonstrate understanding of lean techniques
  • Have experience of FMEA management
  • Competent on MS office packages including MS Project
  • Can demonstrate understanding of process capability measurement
  • Automotive experience is desirable
  • Body in white production experience is desirable, both assembly and pressing
  • Appropriate qualification in manufacturing or engineering is desirable
