This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Lead Security Engineer for a global company who are coming to Belfast As the Lead Security Engineer, you will oversee the evaluation of information risks, pinpoint opportunities to mitigate them, and coordinate the resolution of detected vulnerabilities across the organisation's network, systems, and applications.

You will also , produce reports detailing findings and suggestions for corrective measures.

Conduct routine Risk and Vulnerability Assessments using diverse IT Security Tools and Methodologies, and report findings along with recommendations for corrective measures.

Recognise chances to minimise risk and document potential solutions for remediation, including risk acceptance or mitigation strategies.

For this role, you will need:
Extensive experience in IT Risk Management - Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases and systems Knowledge of well-known standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, COBIT, COSO, GDPR). Additionally Experience in IT Compliance Assessments (e.g. DFS, FFIEC, ISO, SOC)
