Registered Nurse Manager


We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse Manager to work within a prestigious Hospital placed in the heart of London Chelsea which supports 300 ex-armed forces pensioners in one of the specialities dedicated units designed to cater for Ex-Militarypersonnel.

Set in lovely grounds this is a unique experience to be able to provide nursing care to those that have served for their nation.

The role purpose is for the post of Registered Manager is responsible for our integrated registered services comprisingof a 69 bed Care Home and Domiciliary Care Service.


TheRegistered Nurse Manager
key duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Deliver the clinical operational function of the registered services including Domiciliary care, therapies and hobbies and the staff employed to provide those services.
  • Ensure CQC compliance across those regulated activities detailed in the CQC registration certificate
  • Provide line management and leadership to senior staff nurses, registered nurses on Infirmary wards and the medical centre, therapists, care, and activityteams.
  • Deputise for the Director of Health and Wellbeing in their absence as required and appropriate
  • Provide 24hour Duty Matron cover in rotation with colleagues.
  • Ensure that all management and care delivery conforms to the policies and procedures of the Client and that these policies and procedures are monitored and updated as appropriate and in line with legislation.
  • As department nominated data protection officer, ensure compliance of GDPR and associated policies.
  • Ensure that Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) (Mental Capacity Act) are in place for all residents whose mental capacity requires some level of restriction of liberty

  • Must have current NMC PIN/Registration
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Management and leadership qualifications would be desirable.
  • Have demonstrable experience of managing a care home or working in a care setting.
  • Must have experience of ensuring CQC compliance across the regulated activities.
  • Experience of working with or in the armed services.
