Looking for a Facade Consultant to be based in our London Office

Responsibilities

• Developing the specifications and other technical data, together with other staff and the Director.

• Involving and managing tasks of design projects, large and small.

• Involving and managing tasks of facade refurbishment and re-cladding projects.

• Keeping a library of facade contractors and specialists in various areas.

• Creation of standard methods of design, standard details and procedures.

• When necessary, production of drawings using AutoCAD or other software.

• Checking the work of our staff and external design and drafting consultants.

• Finding new products and keeping our library of facade product information up-to-date.

• Assisting the Directors, Associates and senior staff with other tasks as required.

• Visit site, investigation and survey of façades and monitoring of construction as and when necessary, on projects.

Requirements

• Batchelors Degree in Engineering or Architecture

• Demonstrate a good portfolio of façade engineering work

• Experience of liasing with team members of all levels within an organisation and effective teamworking.

• Excellent organisational ability & attention to detail

• Ability to take direction from senior colleagues and directors

• Demonstrate a level of confidentiality when dealing with clients Desirable
