Adecco are recruiting for an Engineering Project Manager to join our client on a 6 month contract.

You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

  • Provide design and engineering support for major Engineering projects
  • Approve and certify designs and operations procedures confirming that the design or procedure under review conforms to Government laws and regulations, Company policies and procedures, accepted engineering practice, and safety requirements
  • Proposal development including development of engineering scope of work, budget and schedule
  • Coordinate design issues with team and facilitate resolution of interdiscipline problems
  • Manage changes to engineering scope and obtain approval on all changes before proceeding with work
  • Manage engineering budget and provide guidance and support to project during project execution
  • Manage the completion of projects using engineering and project management principles
  • Support the maintenance engineering team throughout period of projects
  • Ensure contractual maintenance engineering activities and deliverable are completed in time
  • Assist with forecasting the overall maintenance engineering resources and key skills necessary for project in sufficient time that they can be provided
  • Assist the maintenance engineering team in delivering an optimised maintenance programme through effective and intelligent maintenance
  • A Subject Matter Expert in project engineering/project management

  • BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical degree
  • Similar experience experience
  • Good planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project
  • Ability to act on own initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
