    We are looking for an Account Director to join our Team (automotive client). You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of projects and for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on specification and to a high-quality standard. You will play a critical leadership role in the team and will maintain senior day-to-day client relationships.

    This role will work collaboratively across different teams and disciplines.

    THE ACCOUNT

    At TBWA\London, we believe in partnering with clients to create the best and most effective communication solutions. For our Automotive Client, we do this via a dedicated, integrated, multi-disciplinary team.

    The account comprises of the following:

    • Communications team that deals with developing and delivering integrated campaigns across all vehicle models
    • Dealer Marketing team which manages all marketing relationships within the UK sales network
    • Aftersales team
    • Used Car team

    Across these areas, we deliver all ATL and Retail communications campaigns, and work with the client's partner agencies in CRM, Digital and Events to deliver integrated solutions. Creatively we work with a combination of primarily created work, adapted work from centrally developed assets and primarily developed amplification activity. We also apply precision marketing principles in order to track and impact customer journeys through creative and media, as well as monitor brand and market health to identify and respond swiftly and meaningfully to business issues and opportunities.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain operational project ownership and drive projects through from start to end
    • Create and maintain strong relationships with senior level clients and act as a key day-to-day client contact and interface to the agency team, in conjunction with a cluster director
    • Develop a deep understanding of the client's business and marketing needs and communicate those to the agency team
    • Adaptation of relevant European core assets for UK market
    • Lead and ensure a clear briefing process, selling the ideas to the clients, and facilitating the development process of those ideas
    • Lead and coordinate integrated responses to briefs across the team
    • Lead the development of and author all key senior level client presentations
    • Oversee and monitor the financial aspects of the account and ensure a profitable relationship with the Client
    • Lead all partner agencies and ensure consistent delivery across all aspects of the 360° communications package into all relevant markets
    • Manage a team to support project delivery working across the agency
    • Establish and maintain senior level relationships throughout the network and within the client organisation to ensure great work is being done, shared and replicated
    • Contribute to the culture of the team, including defining and setting new ways of working and leading by example
    • Manage and mentor more junior members of the team

    KEY REQUIREMENTS

    • Substantial experience working within a creative/media agency or advertising network
    • Strong project management or account management experience
    • People management experience
    • A natural collaborator, proactive in building relationships and forming connections across a network
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and demands on your time and delegate work where appropriate
    • Great attention to detail and high-quality standards
    • An articulate communicator, able to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders and translate complex concepts into compelling communication
    • Some CRM knowledge and understanding of customer journey
    • An understanding of automotive sales approaches within the UK and/or Dealerships
    • Proactive attitude
