- As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of mechanical systems and equipment at our waste management facility. This role is essential in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our site and supporting our commitment to environmental sustainability. Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Systems Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and optimise efficiency.
- New Installations: Participate in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and systems.
- Compliance: Ensure that mechanical systems adhere to safety and environmental regulations and standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and mechanical drawings.
