Legacy Strategies are recruiting for a SHEQT( Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Training) Advisor.


On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced individual who has in-depth Health and Safety knowledge within the construction industry.

As a
SHEQT Advisor, you will become an important part of the team, delivering toolbox talks, pre-start briefings and become a vital source of Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality advice.

This role is created for a leader who takes initiative, focuses solely on SHEQT compliances and can balance both business and client needs and requirements.


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting the project management teams in maintaining the highest Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
  • Conducting careful inspections to ensure complete compliance with SHEQ standards, company and client management systems and industry best practices.
  • Ensuring the maintenance and risk management across all projects ( PUWER, LOLER, RAMS, CoSHH, FIRE etc.)
  • Delivering accredited and bespoke training programs.
  • Leading incident investigations.
  • Proactively generating and distributing educational material.

Essential Requirement:


  • Minimum of a NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Proven ability to build and maintain working relationships
  • Experience and uptodate knowledge of RC Frameworks and Groundworks.
  • Expertise in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience in Construction and/or Engineering
  • IEMA Environmental Qualification
  • Fire Risk Assessor
  • CoSHH Assessor
  • Knowledge of Behavioural Safety
