Role Description

Reporting to a Group Director, this is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager located in Barry, South Wales.

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and managing all departments within the company, including production and site operations, sales, finance, and human resources.

The General Manager will also liaise with their counterparts in other group companies to ensure that strategic goals are achieved and best practice shared.

It is essential that the successful candidate be fully aligned with the company's values.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in managing all aspects of a business, including production, sales, finance, and human resources
• Experience in implementing and maintaining fully compliant business systems, including ISO9001, 14001 and 45001
• Experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry
• Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Experience in the plastics industry is not essential but would be an advantage.

Package circa £60,000
