If you're looking for an opportunity where you can use your broad Responsible Business experience within an exciting, supportive, in-house corporate environment then we'd love to hear from you. This role is up to 12 months in duration.


Supported by the Head of Responsible Business Consultancy (Corporate), you'll deliver consultation and facilitation to stakeholders across our business, to deliver the responsible business (RB) framework and support SJP in our ambition to be a leading responsible business.


The main purpose of the role is to help embed accountability and ownership for the RB framework across the business and drive awareness, education and adoption.


What you'll be doing:


  • You'll provide expert knowledge, guidance and support on all aspects of RB, including but not limited to; Financial Wellbeing, Investing Responsibly, Climate Change/Climate Transition, Social Mobility and Community Impact.
  • You'll support the delivery of the strategic goals and KPIs across all material topics to support our ambition to be a leading responsible business and to feed into the RB dashboard.
  • Support the RB Group, regularly reviewing goals and KPIs, taking into consideration industry and sector developments and working collaboratively with the RB team to keep abreast of future changes in best practice and regulatory disclosures.
  • Support the delivery of the strategy for RB, to demonstrate commercial opportunities of RB and mitigate the risks.

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for someone with great communication skills and the ability to influence and empower others


You'll also have:

  • A broad understanding of concepts and principles relating to RB: Climate change, community impact, financial wellbeing, responsible investing and the material enablers.
  • Proven experience of delivering responsible business activities in line with business strategies.
  • Good understanding of the commercial reasons for responsible business.
  • Good understanding of the ESG frameworks and benchmarks used to determine and assess progress against responsible business goals and KPIs
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to positively and clearly engage audiences, of varying size, on complex, sensitive and often emotive topics.
  • A Collaborative approach to problem solving with the ability to engage with others and seek alternative perspectives.

Some business travel to locations and external conferences/events will be required.
