In this role, you will join a dynamic and supportive team in a highly regarded school. You will be responsible for the delivery of Design and Technology (DT) lessons to primary and secondary students. As the DT teacher, you will play a crucial role in promoting creativity, problem-solving skills, and practical knowledge among students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive DT lessons to students
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking
• Assess and provide timely feedback on student progress and performances
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the DT curriculum
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area
• Relevant teaching experience in Design and Technology
• Knowledge of current educational trends and practices in DT education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage a diverse classroom and cater to individual student needs
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Familiarity with relevant software and technology used in DT teaching
