A look into the role


People Advisory is an internal facing consultancy team whose purpose is to deliver a people experience which is aligned to the people strategy, the firm's purpose and its strategic goals.

The team's aim is to create an environment which enables our people tothrive and do their best work, take shared responsibility and deliver exceptional client service.

This means doing what's right ahead of what's easy. The work that you will do has a major impact on our people, clients and our firm. We pride ourselves on the high-level standards we have for the work that we do.


You will be part of a flexible team that supports the business on people annual life cycle activities related to performance, talent and reward.

You will also guide and coach people managers in the effective management of their people, including performanceconcerns, absence and investigation and disciplinary cases.

Supporting the Senior People Adviser and People Advisory Manager.


You will be responsible for delivering on our people strategy, people deal, people initiatives and the annual people experience cycle.


Given the importance of this role, there will be exciting opportunities for the right person to expand their knowledge and develop their skillset.

Knowing you're right for us

Joining us as a People Adviser the minimum criteria you'll need is: is

  • Experience within a generalist HR function.
  • You will have some experience supporting the business with employee relations activity such as absence management, capability and investigation and disciplinary processes
  • Be confident in the use of Excel to manipulate and analyse data
  • You will have experience managing stakeholder relationships


It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.


  • You will have strong written and verbal skill
  • You'll have experience of collaborating in a service line structure and centres of excellence teams
  • Delivered Inclusion and Diversity interventions, to raise awareness, encourage open and honest conversations an allow our people to be themselves at work
  • Built insight in how our people feel and what's important to them
  • Some experience owning people processes such as salary and bonus review, performance moderation and talent management
