    The Role

    Integral to a multidisciplinary team working alongside consultants, you will oversee pre and post-operative consultations, evaluating patient suitability for treatment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct a range of examinations related to refractive, cataract, glaucoma, and retinal surgeries
    • Manage acute and follow-up clinics post-surgery for all patients
    • Offer health guidance and assistance to hospital attendees
    • Provide primary clinical advice to patients and facilitate referrals to medical practitioners when needed

    What You'll Need

    • Valid GOC registration as a fully qualified optometrist
    • Interest in YAG procedures and additional certifications like Medical Retina and IP
    • Extensive hands-on experience in optometry across refractive, high street, or hospital settings
    • Proficiency in using patient administration systems and electronic medical records
