Salary:
£24,496 - £27,344 FTE (£21,258 - £23,730 pro rata)


We require an exceptional
SEND Learning Mentor to join the team at the Nottingham Girls' Academy.**The successful Learning Mentor will support Teachers to ensure that pupils, specifically those with additional needs, engage more effectively with their learning and help increase levels of achievement through appropriate provision. This is a great opportunity to combine mentoring skills whilst working in a supportive environment.
- be able to demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies
- be well organised and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
- have the ability to engage constructively with and relate to a wide range of young people from different backgrounds
- possess excellent communication skills, at all levels

  • Significant experience in a Teaching Assistant/Mentor Role


Experience with academic interventions, for example: Catch up Literacy, Catch up Numeracy, ELSA and barriers to learning including: SEMH, ASD, EAL and literacy difficulties, would be desirable.
