    Head of Group Financial Reporting - PE Backed SaaS Organisation

    £100,000 - £110,000 + Bonus + Package

    Hybrid Working

    STOIX are exclusively working with a Private Equity Backed, scale-up SaaS Organisation who are looking to appoint a new Head of Group Financial Reporting.

    Working with, and reporting to the CFO, you'll be tasked with implementing and streamlining best-in-class reporting processes and controls, integrating new acquisitions and drive strategic initiatives by business partnering non-finance teams to support the ambitious international organic and inorganic growth plans.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Prepare monthly management accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
    • Develop, manage, and automate the financial close process and accounting timetable using best practices.
    • Lead on accounting matters, including consolidation of individual group companies (UK and overseas), and support future transactions such as corporate simplification and M&A
    • Develop revenue analysis, including recurring and non-recurring revenues, quality of revenue, run-rates, ARR, ACV, and key SAAS and retention metrics.
    • Prepare Investor and Bank reporting and form relationships with key external stakeholders.
    • Manage day-to-day finance functions, including AP, AR, working capital, and fixed assets.
    • Oversee the preparation/review of annual financial statements.
    • Provide technical accounting expertise on revenue recognition, acquisition accounting, and entity consolidations.
    • Manage taxation matters, including filing PAYE, VAT, ERS returns, and overseeing the statutory timetable.
    • Run weekly revenue flash and forecast for the Executive team.
    • Own the short/long-term forecasting process, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow.
    • Develop appropriate MI, including regular KPIs for delivery to the business.
    • Integrate future acquisitions into the Group.

    Experience and Skills:

    • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with significant PQE
    • Track record in leading, managing, and developing a finance team.
    • A business and process improvement mindset with the ability to deliver practical solutions.
    • Ability to work in detail whilst also understanding the implications on the wider business.
    • Experience in the SaaS/software sector and working in a Private Equity environment is advantageous, but not essential.
    • Experience with system implementations would be advantageous
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
