Indirect Procurement Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an Indirect Procurement Manager to join a leading defence and aerospace company based in Ampthill, with a salary up to £65,000, and operating on a 4 day working week basis.

The Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for thedevelopment and management of procurement strategies and commercial activities across facilities maintenance services and construction projects.

There are excellent progression opportunities available into more senior positions over the next few years.

Responsibilities of the Indirect Procurement Manager:

Providing leadership to support the successful delivery of procurement based projects including but not limited to Hard and Soft services across Facilities Maintenance.
Managing and developing a team of 3 Indirect Buyers.
Reviewing and monitoring contract compliance and performance to achieve best value.
Negotiating and developing relationships with suppliers and other key stakeholders.

Person Specification of the Indirect Procurement Manager:

Have previously held or be eligible for SC clearance
:

Proven demonstrable experience of acquisition of Facilities Management Hard and Soft services or construction projects.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders.
Individual who thrives on challenges and has experience working within a fastpaced procurement function.

Salary:

Up to £65,000

This role will be ideal for you if you have previous experience within procurement and sourcing as a Category Manager, Commodity Manager, Senior Buyer, Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager.
