    Lead DevOps Engineer
    London, UK (Hybrid Working) - £72,000 per annum

    We are working with a Public Sector organisation based in London, who are looking for a talented Lead DevOps Engineer to join the team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the software development lifecycle.

    As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with business partners, utilising your expertise in microservices, DevOps, and reusable Web Components to contribute to the entire software development lifecycle.

    Working in an agile environment, you will lead the design and implementation of application builds & releases, deployments, and configuration activities.

    Lead DevOps Engineer Responsibilities
    Implement secure and scalable cloud platforms to support software development.
    Maintain and automate CI/CD pipelines for applications and systems.
    Ensure the security and optimisation of cloud platforms.
    Assist the Head of Software Engineering in planning and providing direction to the team.
    Take ownership of all work developed by team members.
    Guide, coach, and mentor other team members.
    Lead DevOps Engineer Experience and Requirements
    Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure Platform.
    Proficiency in release and deployment tools, ideally using Azure DevOps.
    Knowledge of microservices and containerisation architecture.
    Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, YAML, Python.
    Familiarity with JS frameworks like ReactJS, HTML, and CSS.
    Experience with C#, REST API, and version control systems like GIT.
    Strong networking knowledge (VNet, CDN, DNS, LB, gateways).
    Experience with Linux, Windows Server, Azure SQL Server, Azure Storage, CosmosDB.
    Expertise in cloud security management (IAM, Security Groups, certificates & key management)
