    Job summary

    We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Deputy Operations Manager to join the Transplant Directorate (Nephrology, Hepatology, Transplant Surgery and HPB Surgery).

    Working closely with the Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Division C and Transplant operational and transformation agenda.

    We require an experienced manager with a track record of managing services within an acute hospital setting and delivering targets.

    You will possess the confidence and skills that will enable you to understand the complex business needs of the services you manage and the division. You will have excellent people skills, credibility and critical thinking at every level and be able to demonstrate delivery of targets and transformational projects.

    Main duties of the job

    Working with the Operations Manager to deliver operational targets and service development projects. You will manage a team of people across multiple sites effectively. Alongside operational and financial management for defined service areas within the Directorate, contributing to strategic and service planning as required.
