Description
CLINICAL FELLOW POSTS (ST1-3) IN NEONATOLOGY

1 post to start May 2023, other posts to commence September 2023

University College London Hospital NHS Trust (UCLH) is looking for qualified and enthusiastic applicants for the posts of Clinical Fellows (ST1-3).

This is an exciting opportunity to gain tertiary medical neonatal intensive care experience working in the heart of central London at UCLH.

These appointments are for 6-12 months.

The UCLH Neonatal unit is the primary referral centre for neonatal intensive care (a level 3 unit with 21 ITU and HDU cots) for the North Central London Perinatal Network, and provides a full range of intensive care for the sickest and most vulnerable babies.

We specialise in Neonatal Neuro-Critical Care and we are a regional centre for therapeutic hypothermia (cooling).

We work in partnership with our UCLH Fetal Medicine Unit, a regional and international referral centre for complex pregnancies, and Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), specialist paediatric hospital, to collaboratively care for babies with complex conditions.

UCLH's neonatal unit has been rated in the GMC survey as one of the top London Hospitals for neonatal training in 2017, and is consistently rated as "one of the best placements ever" by doctors.

We have an excellent track record of helping doctors get appointed to specialty and sub-specialty training programmes.

For more information regarding the main responsibilities of the role, please refer to the attached Job Description.
