A multi-strategy hedge fund, with $20bn+ AUM, is looking to make an exciting, newly-created Senior Compliance hire.

The firm has been established for a number of years and is now one of the leading names in the industry.

They have made a number of significant front office hires recently, including a Commodities PM, hence the requirement for specialist compliance hires such as this.

The Senior Compliance Officer will lead the compliance responsibilities for their new commodities business. Reporting to the Global CCO, you will cover both advisory and day to day compliance responsibilities for the business.

Working as part of a team of 6, you will be the only pure commodities specialist in the team and therefore have significant autonomy in building out compliance for this part of the business.

There will also be the opportunity to get exposure to their wider strategies.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in compliance, with a strong background in commodities. My client have an unlimited budget for the position and will offer a lucrative package to the right candidate. There will also be significant other benefits, including flexible working.
