    Description

    Job Description At Ilmor, we specialise in the design, simulation, development and manufacture of powertrain systems, electronics, and software for Motorsport, Automotive and Marine applications.

    We are innovating at pace in the development of high efficiency, race, and production ready, ICE and EV solutions for both land and sea.

    You would be working for a business which is highly invested in technology, at the forefront of engineering developments and in an environment which truly has a family feel and everyone knows your name.

    We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who can produce CNC Code and Programs for lathe and mill turn machines.

    The ideal candidate will have the ability to create effective methods of manufacture, working with designs for small batch, high end manufacturing and one-off prototype activity.

    Additionally, you will be expected to problem solve and work directly with the team in the Machine Shop, to resolve technical issues and build a professional interface with Designers, Buyers, and Customers.

    Relevant Engineering HNC / HND / Degree
    Extensive experience of Programming CAD / CAM / CATIA V5, Hypermill, Vericut
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, preferably Motorsport (alternatively Automotive or Aerospace)
    An in-depth understanding of engineering principles and engine systems
    An agile and flexible approach to fluctuating workloads
