RARE Productions was founded back in 2002 and are now the largest youth theatre production company in the United Kingdom.

Our current home is in Caxton, Cambridgeshire, where we have premises large enough to build, store all our sets, as well as house our extensive wardrobe, tech stores, produce and coordinate all the admin for our productions.


RARE Productions are looking for someone that is motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about their business and sector, as well as someone that wants to progress a Digital Marketing career.

Main Duties include but not limited to - Support digital marketing campaigns

  • Liaising with areas managers to gather and encourage digital content for use on numerous social media platforms (Facebook/meta, Instagram, Tik Tok etc)
  • Source new areas in which to promote the work of RARE productions
  • Learn to use text messaging advertising
  • Learn to produce professional marketing e shots
  • Learn to liaise with our business partners to maintain marketing relationships and source new areas of marketing opportunity
  • Learn to order and coordinate hard copy publicity for distribution to all of RARE'S areas.
  • Learn to produce press releases for distribution to media outlets.

Entry requirements

Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths

Training to be provided

You will be completing the Level 3 Multi-channel Marketer Apprenticeship

(N.B. Formally Digital Marketer Level 3. As of Dec 2023, Digital Marketer has been updated to Multi-Channel Marketer. This new standard expands on the curriculum and provides learning on all aspects of marketing instead of solely focusing on digital marketing.)

As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing, impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms.

As part of the Marketing team, the multi-channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans.

They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.


Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training

For the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, there is an end point assessment.

This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how the apprentice is judged on their learning and will include:


  • Producing a written Report
  • Portfolio of evidence based work
  • Presentation and Q&A
  • Professional Discussion based on Portfolio
Things to consider


The individual is required to have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the location of RARE Productions.

There will be an element of working out of traditional hours so flexibility is mandatory.
