    The Opportunity

This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff in Keele University's Global Opportunities Team. Global Opportunities is responsible for delivering all student and staff mobility initiatives including student exchange, study abroad and summer and short programmes.

The role will support the planning and delivery of the university's summer and short programmes for visiting international students. The role will work across the university to coordinate the operations and activities of online and in person summer schools. Working with the Global Opportunities Officer, the role holder will ensure the successful delivery of summer and short programmes through a strong working relationship with academic and administrative peers.

This is a varied role, requiring a diverse skill set and an ability to work in an independent and flexible manner.

The role holder should be prepared to work during non-traditional hours at key times in the year, including weekend and evening work during the summer school delivery window between June and September. It is unlikely that the role holder will be able to take extensive holidays during this delivery window.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and use initiative to support the design and development of new and innovative summer and short programmes for Keele. Knowledge of mobility programmes would and an interest in international activities and mobility would be beneficial but not essential.
