    As high-level graduate (BSc, MSc or PhD) of Chemist, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering Scientist you will embark on a development / product formulation opportunity.

    This is a great role for a chemist who wants to be in the design and manufacture of new chemical products.

    As a formulation or product development chemist you'll be leading new product developments across technical fields and R&D as well as strong links to areas like manufacturing, procurement, product stewardship.

    As a technical chemist you will be involved in business strategy alongside the Sales Manager and Business Manager to help fully engage with customers.

    Executing projects which result in new technical capabilities - molecules, formulations, intellectual property, processes, tests
    Drive continuous improvement of the lab and coordinate capability development globally with the Technology teams
    Collaborate with external stakeholders to deliver program outcomes at contract laboratories and service providers
    Solving complex scientific problems through generation of innovative solutions
    PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science
    Willingness to take ownership and accountability to progress projects independently
    Ability to work effectively as an individual, in groups and as part of cross-functional teams, across multiple cultures, on a wide portfolio of projects

    Technical background - significant experienced technology/ chemical product development, in various areas like fuel cells or organic chemistry or formulation or polymers, additives fuels, emulsifiers, diesels markets but can take from other industries materials etc.

    Must have commercial experience after graduating, or strong industrial collaborations.
    Ability to analyse and interpret complex technical data, to derive sound technical judgements and drive project decisions
    Strong interpersonal and networking skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams
    Experience of sustainable and/or green chemistry in an industrial setting desirable
    Strong safety focus including a demonstrated ability to deliver high quality risk assessments.
