    Position Title: Marketing Coordinator

    Reporting To: Marketing Manager

    Salary: £26,000 per annum

    Location: London/Head Office Tooting Works

    Term: 12 Months FTC ( Full-Time)

    Job Summary:

    Tooting Works, and our charity Business Launchpad, are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Coordinator with experience of digital marketing, including social media marketing and web site content creation. The Marketing Coordinator will also have the opportunity to work on website optimisation and SEO, as well as some online advertising, email marketing and partnership building projects.

    Reporting to our marketing manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for helping plan and create marketing campaigns, and then executing campaigns across various platforms. The Marketing Coordinator will also create some collateral for traditional marketing channels and will support ensuring branding consistency across the organisation.

    It will be important to understand how to track the performance and impact of marketing activities against goals, particularly using social media and web site analytics metrics, and adjust them accordingly.

    The ideal candidate will have experience of digital marketing, particularly social media, strong written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to support the achievement of organisational goals.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Implement marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive customer engagement.
    • Optimise the company's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) to enhance brand presence and meet community engagement goals.
    • Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, images, videos, and other multimedia formats.
    • Monitor social media channels for trending topics, relevant conversations, and opportunities for engagement or promotion.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to create web site content; ensure website content is optimized for SEO and user experience.
    • Execute SEO strategies to improve the website's organic search rankings and drive traffic.
    • Create online advertising campaigns as needed across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to reach target audiences and achieve marketing objectives.
    • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to optimise performance. Make recommendations for performance improvement and implement agreed changes.
    • Assist in the development and execution of traditional marketing initiatives, including print materials, event promotion and branded collateral.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, and suppliers to ensure marketing projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing and traditional marketing channels.
    • Support the Marketing Manager in developing comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
    • Requirements for the Role:

      • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
      • At least 1 year of experience in a marketing role
      • Proven experience in digital marketing, including social media, and website content creation and optimisation.
      • Strong understanding of social media platforms.
      • Ability to work with content management systems and digital analytics tools.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various digital channels.
      • Proficiency in using marketing automation tools.
      • Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is preferred.
      • Goal-focused.
      • Organised, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
      • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
      • A passion for innovation and staying on top of digital marketing trends.
