    We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to facilitate the smooth and efficient operation of the engineering function at our Corsham site, by assisting engineering personnel to meet the demands of the business and the production targets, and through continuous improvement, to also drive the move from a 'repair culture' to an 'improvement culture', enhancing equipment performance and reliability by developing technical skills and knowledge.

    Key Accountabilities
    Promote, encourage and fully implement safety measures and working practices throughout the site
    Ensure all work is carried out to specification and that food safety standards and environmental standards are met.
    Actively seek opportunities for self-development and learning and learns from experiences through evaluation
    Engage with the PDM process to identify training and development opportunities.
    Actively encourage and support the development of others and give practical support and assistance to help others to learn (eg. advice, information, and time).
    Coach and train staff where appropriate.

    To provide technical support (minimum of electrical and mechanical) in the correction, prevention and elimination of technical problems for the site.

    To provide technical support in response to breakdowns on process systems, plant and equipment, including good fault-finding techniques.
    Deliver electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site on all equipment.
    Knowledge of PLCS and controls, invertors and drives.

    Respond promptly and effectively to ensure quick resolution to any equipment issues to minimize any downtime, quality and efficiency problems.

    Participate constructively as a member of the department; keeping everyone informed and proactively share your knowledge and expertise within the team.

    Apply lean thinking techniques to ensure the productive capability of the site is optimized and improved, thus demonstrating commitment towards achieving factory targets, including prompt start up times
    Actively support the continuous improvement.
    Work with site personnel and engineers to ensure required process skills training is performed for all new equipment.

    Skills and Knowledge
    Food Safety Level 2 / Food Safety for Engineers
    Holistech literate
    Qualifications
    Full and appropriate levels of electrical, mechanical certification required, which is be supported by practical ability and actions and assessment as and when required
