    iAS BS OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor – Online e-learningPackage
    Introduction
    This web-based e-learning packageprovides an effective way to gain competence in carrying out internal audits against the18001 standard.

    BS OHSAS 18001 is an accepted international standard providing a framework for managing OHS and an effective internal audit is an essential component.

    This can help with defence against Corporate Manslaughter/ CorporateKilling charges.
    Helps your organisation demonstrate it has an effective occupationalhealth and safety management system in place
    Enables employees to develop the skills and gain the knowledge to carryout effective internal audits

    It is designed for either the single or multiple userand is divided into individual 'parts' to mirror the iAS syllabus.

    Each part hasits own index, which references the syllabus section headings.

    Users are easilyable to move between the different 'Internal Auditor - BS18001 Health andSafety' parts and sections to access information PDFs, interactive slidepresentations and exercises.

    The active time spent in each of the parts is timed by the software. All data entered, together with timings of learning exercisesand assessments, is recorded.

    In order to record study hours accurately thesoftware monitors when it is actually being used or inactive while taking abreak.

    There is a motivational reward system to encourage student progress. This rewards users with gold stars for completion of study time and learningexercises for each part.
    Each Part is supported by arange of learning exercises to check and re-inforce understanding. To gainaccess to these exercises the user must have spent the recommended learning timestudying the material. Users may review their answers and results of thelearning exercises for feedback.

    Selected at random from a bank of questions and eachexercise is marked by the software and a result given upon completion.

    Selected at random from a bank of questions and theuser reviews their answers against the marking scheme to self assign marks.

    Complete sentences based on the prompts offered withinthe exercise.
    Enjoyable way to check understanding within a part.
    Non-conformity / hazard identification exercises
    Contains additional interactive features,non-conformity / hazard identification exercises including video. The hazardidentification exercises require users to interact by identifying on-screennon-conformities / hazards. These are also marked by the software, with resultsand feedback available.

    Mock and Final Assessment:

    Upon successful completion of all the parts the assessmentsection will become available and contains a Mock Assessment and FinalAssessment.

    The mock assessment is mandatory and allows users to attempt mockassessments under time constraints. The questions are representative of those inthe real assessment.
    The Final Assessment needs to be successfully completed togain the iAS certificate for this award.
