The Group Brand function at THG works with our Nutrition, Beauty and Ingenuity divisions across all of our exciting brands such as Myprotein, LookFantastic, Cult Beauty and more.

The function focuses on using a range of data (whether that be customer data, market data or brand data from third parties) to holistically look at how our brands operate, evaluating our customer performance, creative strategies, and marketing investment.

The goal of the team is to collaborate with the divisions across the group to develop world class brands who obsess about their customers.


What will I be doing?
As a Principle Modeling Consultant focusing on MMM (marketing mix modelling) within the groups brand function you will:

  • Lead end-to-end Marketing Mix Modelling/econometrics projects, from Initial model development to insights generation and data storytelling. This will be expanding on current work done previously and building new models for our portfolio of brands internationally.
  • Specialise as an MMM professional, working closely to ensure frameworks are accurate and resolve client challenges.
  • Responsible for delivering econometric modelling and analytics projects
  • Lead analytics projects focused on marketing mix modelling, from planning and design to implementation, ensuring deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
  • Understand business challenges and develop datadriven strategies that enhance marketing effectiveness and optimize spend.
  • Use MMM to help us outline & shape tests based on model outputs and measure incrementality of testing and ongoing results as part of optimisations.
  • Influence and guide senior marketers with alternate attribution and marketing frameworks.

What skills and experience would I need?

  • Handson experience in delivering measurement and effectiveness results using Marketing Mix Modelling/econometrics techniques.
  • Experience in Meta's Robyn model preferred.
  • Strong working experience analysing data and be willing to use a range of tools/approaches to problem solving.
  • Experience with business intelligence, advanced marketing analytics, marketing mix modelling, econometrics or related analytics experience.
  • Have experience of delivering complex multimarket MMM projects.
  • You are assertive, with the confidence to be voice of authority, and are not afraid to do what is best for the team.
  • Solid understanding of core marketing channels and how they can deliver against objectives.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience with stakeholder management.
  • The ability to work effectively across organisational boundaries and the confidence and credibility to challenge constructively to achieve the desired outcomes.
