On behalf of one of our partnership secondary schools in Liverpool, TP Tutors are seeking to recruit a Secondary Maths Tutor for GCSE pupils.

Starting as soon as possible, the school are looking for a tutor that would be able to commit to two weeks fulltime (Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm) initially, after which point the length of tuition will be reviewed with the school commiting to at least two full days per week until the end of May 2023.

This tuition is facilitated through the National Tuition Programme (NTP) that was set up to provide additional educational support to children who's learning has been impacted by school closures during the Covid 19 Pandemic.

The successful tutor will:

Hold QTS status and have Key Stage 3 and 4 whole class and small group teaching experience
Have excellent behaviour management skills
Have sound knowledge of the Secondary Maths curriculum and exam syllabus such as AQA and Edexcel

The responsibilities of the successful tutor will be:

Planning and delivery of tuition sessions
Completing baseline and end of block assessments to track individual progress
Using our online portal, LEAP, to complete session reports to complete learning journey's for all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
