    Job Title: Design & Technology Teacher

    Job Salary: £30,863 - £46,001

    Location: Bristol

    Contract Type: Full time, permanent

    Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce Team are currently working alongside an Academy in the Weston-super-Mare area who are currently seeking a permanent DT Teacher from September 2024. As a committed professional, you will have the opportunity to teach our fantastic students aged The successful applicant will be a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who has a positive and open approach to learning. This post is suitable for an experienced teacher or ECT.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver the curriculum as required to students in years'
  • Responsible for creating and delivering lesson plans, adjusting to each group/year where required.
  • Accountable for students progress within class.
  • Have a clear understanding of each students needs, including SEN Students.
  • Produce accurate and productive assessments of students progression.

    • Requirements:

  • A UK Teaching Qualification with QTS is essential for this role and will not be considered without.
  • Prior experience teaching GCSE Design & Technology within a Secondary School setting.
  • Hold a minimum Bachelors degree within the subject
  • Have an up to date DBS registered on the Update Service or issued within 3 weeks.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
