Maintenance Surveyor
37 hours per week (agile working basis - excellent work life balance)
To cover Bridgend, Port Talbot, Neath, Swansea and surrounding areas.
(CF32 9FE and surrounding areas)
£34,900.00 per annum
The opportunity:
Linc Cymru are offering the opportunity to join our Asset Management team as a Maintenance Surveyor.
The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking pre and post contract inspections, manage voids and projects, provide excellent customer service and identify, raise and monitor works across the business.
Our head office is based on Newport Road, Cardiff, the successful applicant must be able to cover Bridgend, Port Talbot, Neath, Swansea and the surrounding areas.
Main duties of this role include:
- Managing projects under the value of circa £15k
- Identifying and reporting any planned, WHQS, Damp & Condensation or major works required that will improve Lincs Assets.
- Monitor, inspect, audit and report on the work of contractors onsite to ensure that repairs are carried out to a high standard and provide good value for money, whilst also achieving the required levels of tenant satisfaction.
- To ensure that works carried out on site are undertaken in line with all Health and Safety requirements and contractors are adhering to Linc contractor code of conduct.
What we need from you:
- Current working knowledge of construction Health & Safety.
- Skilled and experienced in providing high standards of customer service and resolving complaints.
- Competent numeracy skills: at least GCSE standard or equivalent.
- Full driving license.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
- To cover Bridgend, Port Talbot, Neath, Swansea, and the surrounding areas.
