Job OverviewThe Scheduler will manage the overall activity of the security team.
Using the latest scheduling software, manage the delivery of scheduling and training.
The Scheduler will, using the systems and processes, ensure that the correct resource is deployed to achieve service delivery for the contract.
This position will be a Monday to Friday role.Main Duties
Main Duties
- Liaising with management team throughout the day regarding staffing levels, changes to planned work, additional requirements etc.
- Provide first point of contact for all resourcing issues
- Liaising between internal departments to resolve any resourcing issues
- Assist to identify and resolve all issues in normal operations and manage all communication for all schedule disruption
- Carry out any other duties as requested by Management
- Advanced communication and organisational abilities
- Support with the delivery of resource plans including recruitment, selection, screening and vetting standards and activity to support the Operational teams to deliver the contract resource levels
- To be an advocate of Mitie company vison and values
- To develop and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders in the business
- Support operational management in the delivery of the people plan
- Delivery of the administrative activities within the Learning and development for the team
- Ensuring that all SIA's are in date and all approprite documentation/prerenewal training is completed.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and compliance of information storage across the contract
- Support operational management teams on the management of absence in the contract, tracking and organisation of return to works.
- Support operational management teams on any other reasonable administrative tasks
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills with the ability to provide detailed information and advice in a clear and positive manner.
- Work effectively under pressure within a busy and diverse environment.
- Show a creative approach to analysing and solving problems using technology and reported information.
- Adhere to process and compliance requirements.
- Work well as part of a team.
