The position

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Field Based Clinical Quality Specialist to join our team.
  • As a Field-Based Clinical Quality Specialist you will be responsible for assessing and improving clinical quality across the trial portfolio, working to implement best practices and ensure compliance to GCP under the supervision of Clinical Operations Excellence Manager
  • You use innovation, and initiative when analysing, prioritising, planning, and performing tasks either assigned by management or selfinitiated.
  • Collect and analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and areas requiring corrective actions.
  • Participate in the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to quality assurance.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address quality deficiencies and track progress.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and wider CDC teams to address and resolve qualityrelated findings.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level in life sciences or equivalent.
  • GCP training attended and certificated
  • Proven experience in clinical research to Senior/Executive Clinical Research Associate or Project/Trial Manager level
  • Experience of training or coaching employees (desirable)
  • Experience of quality assurance/auditing (desirable)

About the department

  • Our Clinical Development Centres (CDCs), part of the Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Departments, are the backbone in clinical trials and have the benefits of strengthened partnerships and launches. We conduct clinical trials in more than 50 countries around the world, in close collaboration with our affiliates, regions and global teams.
  • You will be a part of our large, resourceful development team that plays a crucial role in the ambitious drug development programs at Novo Nordisk. The entire centre consists of around 100 individuals, overseeing 30% of all clinical trial patients in North West Europe.
  • In this role, you will be part of the Clinical Operations Excellence team, responsible for the planning & implementation of the quality, training and system implementation plans in alignment with local and global expectations/targets. You will report to the Clinical Operations Excellence Manager.
