- Leadership of multi-skilled Engineering team, including delegation of work, monitoring individuals, team performance, coaching and mentoring Engineers and Apprentices
- Drive daily performance and objectives
- Maintaining PPM adherence
- Maintaining monitoring systems
- Leading shift and departmental projects
- Completing personal objectives in line with business requirements
- Liaise with Engineering Manager regarding Continuous Improvement and long-term projects.
- Provide hands on support for shift teams
- Qualified in Engineering (NVQ Level 3) / Apprentice trained, with an Electrical bias.
- Time served multi-skilled engineer with a strong technical knowledge in heavy Manufacturing
- Knowledge of modern Maintenance techniques, Lean Manufacturing and other Continuous Improvement techniques
- Flexible and motivational
- Previous experience of leading a multi-disciplined engineering team
- Experience with Agility Maintenance Planning would be advantageous

Description
Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer based in the Penistone area of South Yorkshire.They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader (with an Electrical bias) to be a hands-on member of the engineering maintenance team, providing leadership and motivation.
You will be responsible for identifying and prioritising pro-active and reactive maintenance tasks on a daily basis.This would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role where Mechanical & Electrical Engineers are managed (e.g. Engineering Supervisor / Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Engineer Leader / Engineering Manager).
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, days and nights on rotation.
Salary:
£46,272 basic + £3,093 shift allowance (total £49,365)
