A fantastic opportunity has become available for a motivated full time trainee dental nurse to join our practice and support our wonderful dental team.

The practice offers Implants, Cosmetic and general dentistry, priding ourselves in offering the highest level of care to our patients.

Sandown Dental Practice on the Isle of Wight was established in the mid 1980's initially as a single-handed practice.

The building now houses five surgeries and a purpose-built Decontamination and Sterilisation Room.

Location:
Sandown Dental Practice 18 Broadway, Sandown PO36 9DQ

Monday-Friday 08:30-5:30.

Occasional Saturdays if required.
Part-time hours available.

Computer literate
Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
Set-up and prepare the surgery for the type of patient and treatment planned
Ensure safe disposal of sharps and clinical waste
Maintain the radiograph processing unit
Escort patients from the waiting room to the surgery, confirming the medical history and bringing any changes to the attention of the dentist
Follow all practice policies and procedures and patient confidentiality
Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the dental team
Comply with all GDC and CQC requirements
Required academic or trade qualifications
