- Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit to customers.
- Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers, including conducting thorough credit checks and assessing payment history.
- Prepare detailed credit risk assessments and make recommendations based on analysis and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams to negotiate credit terms and conditions with customers.
- Monitor and manage credit limits, exposures, and overdue accounts receivable, taking proactive measures to mitigate risk.
- Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide timely and insightful reporting on credit-related metrics and performance to stakeholders.
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of credit risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial analysis and reporting.
