    Apply todayResponsible for developing new business opportunities and the ongoing strategic business relationships between the Evidence Generation & Value Communications Practice Area and clients of varying size.

    The team member in this position is also responsible for increased revenues and operating income with existing and potential clients within the pharma, biotech, and medical device industry.

    Additionally, the team member will work closely with designated business leads, new business development leads, and subject matter experts to drive new business and achieve the Practice Area goals.

    Experience with economic modeling, health technology assessment, evidence synthesis, systematic literature reviews, evidence generation, value and access, global value dossier are all useful for this position.


    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Consults with clients to develop strategies, taking into account such factors as client's vision and goalsWorks closely and collaboratively with the Practice Area, Service Line, and Worktype Leads to drive specific dollar amounts within identified accounts and for identified worktypesResolves client issues, identifies root causes, and takes steps to prevent similar issues from arising in the futureDevelops and implements strategic sales and marketing plans to accommodate company and individual-level business goals.

    Develops, leads, or actively participates in proposal development and deliveryReviews market trends to determine and anticipate client needsGathers information, analyzes, and develops strategies concerning dynamics that may affect the business relationship, such as changes in client ownership or new affiliations; current market share and targets of opportunities for new growth; clients' changing requirements; competitor strengths and weaknesses; and continually communicates these strategies internally using verbal discussion and written business plansResponsible for delivering sales presentations to key clientsMaintains strong client relationships; seeks new and expanded business opportunitiesMonitors and analyzes reports and data that are used consistently throughout Cencora for measuring profitability growth; develops and implements strategies to ensure continued successPlans, conducts and directs research and/or works on complex projects necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches.

    Represents the organization in outside discussions and technical forums.

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


    Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, sales, marketing, pharmacy science, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a 4-year bachelor's degree program.

    Healthcare marketing, business development, and account-based sales experience preferred; selling to or working with leaders and decision-makers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or device industry is essential.

    Strong experience directly related and progressively responsible experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing (or other applicable areas) with emphasis in global market access for drugs and other health technologies, global health economics and outcomes research, and in managed markets strategy.

    Previous Supervisory experience also preferred.

    MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

    Possesses and applies an advanced knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of projects of major complexity, sufficient to teach others.

    Must have achieved recognized standing in professional field through original contribution. Able to substantially contribute to business strategy and planning within specified area of expertise.
