This beautiful location has recently had a £9 million refurbishment, including a brand-new Kitchen, which offers a seasonalmenu This is a perfect homely retreat for friends and families.

The role is perfect for someone looking to start their career as a sous chef and gain exceptional experience from a knowledgeable Head Chef.

The role:
Cooking seasonal food with a modern British twist to a high standard
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen
Ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence
Using freshly grown herbs from the estate's very own kitchen garden
Experience in dealing with guests as required to cook outside for woodland feasts
Bringing new ideas and trends to the business and achieving tangible cost-effective results
A positive attitude and ability to create a buzz in the kitchen to keep the team motivated
Delivery and production of quality food for events and weddings, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customer

Requirements:
Excellent time management skills
Worked in equivalent 2 rosette standard
Willing to work well as part of a team
Be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment
Have detailed knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques
Be able to work under the highest of pressures delivering food to a high standard
Previous experience working in busy restaurants would be ideal
