    About the role:

    Our clients are looking for assistance navigating the vast array of services available within a public cloud, as well as expert setup and configuration in line with best-practice guidelines, complete with the requisite monitoring and alerts. As a Systems Engineer, one of your primary responsibilities is to respond to customer requests, incident tickets, and change requests and record those appropriately in our service desk system and deal with them to ensure the customers enjoy an awesome service

    A key aspect of the role will be to deploy new environments or services to existing and new customers as part of multi-practice project teams.

    Essential Skills / Experience:

    • 4+ years VMware experience, within a large-scale environment, with a high standard of vSphere knowledge
    • Windows Server Administration - e.g., Patching, Active Directory, Configuration
    • Deployment of Virtual Networks and Hybrid Cloud Networks
    • Knowledge of cloud security-related services - Load Balancers, Secrets Management, Firewalls
    • Monitoring - e.g., Nagios / Zabbix / Solarwinds / PRTG
    • SAN storage arrays (ideally at least one of Pure, Dell EMC or NetApp)
    • Confident in contributing technical knowledge during the detailed service design process
    • Linux/Unix Server Administration - e.g., Patching, Configuration

    • Zerto Experience
    • Up to date VCP-DCV
    • SQL Experience - e.g., MSSQL, PostGres etc
    • Citrix Experience
    • Kubernetes Experience
    • Experience gathering customer requirements and joining pre-sales consultancy effort
