Urgently Required - Group Accountant - Cwmbran

6 Months +

£ £28.00 Per Hour (DOE)

Key tasks will include:

1) Preparation of the monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting and over-seeing the financial accounts function

2) PLC accounts

3) Management re-charges

4) Balance sheet reconciliations

5) Stock involvement and managing data as they migrate from the old system onto the new accounting software

6) Management of all aspects of VAT

7) Close accounts at year end and prepare final set for audit stage

8) Assist with the production of finance information for budgets and forecasts

9) Liaising with auditors at YE

10) Assist with the day to day supervision of the accounts team

Hours of work are 37.5 per week and my client can be flexible with start / finish times. Initially for the first 3-4 months of the assignment you will be based fully on-site.

This is due to the requirement to be in the office supporting the finance function,over time there is the opportunity for hybrid working.
