Bespoke Joinery Project Designer


Salary:
£30,000-£40,000 + bonuses

Summary/Objective:
As a Bespoke Joinery Project Designer, you will play a crucial role in day-to-day operations.

We are seeking a resourceful, organized, and highly communicative individual with furniture construction knowledge to efficiently manage projects from design processes to production.

You will work closely with clients, Project Managers, and the Production team to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.


Responsibilities:


  • Create accurate, productionsavvy designs that meet or exceed client requirements and cost budgets.
  • Guide clients through the design process, collaborating effectively with project teams.
  • Communicate and collaborate with coworkers, departments, suppliers, and installers.
  • Utilize knowledge across the team to develop feasible production designs.
  • Manage project completion pacing to meet procurement and production deadlines.
  • Work with Procurement to identify and negotiate on long leadtime items and sourcing.
  • Develop proficiency in Solidworks, RM6, eDrawings, and other CAM interface software.
  • Actively seek opportunities to work smarter, reduce material variety, and enhance fabrication techniques.
  • Attend site meetings, representing our clients interests and guiding Project Managers on design, manufacturing, and installation.
  • Investigate and resolve problems with existing designs, producing new designs and improvements.
  • Attend personal development training to enhance skills.

Compensation and Benefits:


  • Salary: £30k £40k based on experience.
  • Bonus: OTE of 6% of salary.
  • Personal Development Incentive: £2,000 per annum.
Holiday Entitlement: 23 days plus statutory holidays.
