Administrative AssistantLocation:
Ipswich - in smart, modern offices with free parking
Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave - until end Sept 2023**
Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 pa
Are you an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant eager for a new role? Could you fulfil a vital support function within a busy office?
Do you have previous experience in a similar role, or maybe you are a recent graduate at the beginning of your professional career?
You will be working as part of the team at a highly respected Appointed Representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management Plc. The company provides bespoke financial advice and services to executives, managers, families and entrepreneurs.

The Role:
Administrative Assistant


  • You will be a key member of the team dealing with a wide range of tasks supporting your colleagues and clients. Full training will be given to develop your knowledge.
  • You will be primarily involved with multiple admin activities, you will also manage and collate company data.

Specifically, your role with involve:

  • Managing the database of clients and diary management for the partner and advisors
  • Correspondence for clients and providers, dealing with client queries
  • Processing new business
  • Preparing information for client review meetings and completing letters following the meeting
  • General administrative duties including scanning post, saving clients letters & writing birthday cards

The Person:
Administrative Assistant

To be considered as an Administrative Assistant, you will need:

  • Previous experience as an Administrator within a professional office environment preferred
  • Financial Services experience is useful but not essential
  • Excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and be able to problem solve and think on your feet
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Programs
  • It is essential that you are confident in dealing with colleagues, third parties and can work with total discretion.
