Overview:


We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced administrator to join our friendly Commercial Waste Team, who are responsible for resolving customer enquiries, generating potential sales leads and a wide range of administration tasks.

The team support the operational service in delivering a high-quality, cost-effective waste collection service for schools and businesses across Buckinghamshire.

This role is a twelve-month fixed term position, with the potential to extend, depending on service requirements.

Key accountabilities include.

  • To effectively manage inbound customer enquiries across several communication channels, to resolve queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • To provide accurate information to service users, providing high levels of customer service.
  • To support with monthly billing and invoicing processes.
  • To research prospects and potential new leads, supporting the Senior Sales Executive as required.
  • To maintain accurate customer and backoffice systems.
  • To process service requests.
  • Liaise with the Operations team to resolve service delivery issues.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Any-Desk:
As an 'any-desk' worker, you'll need a desk, screen a keyboard to get your job done.

You'll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required.

You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements*.

About you:


  • Possesses good communication skills and accurate attention to detail.
  • Educated to GCSE / NVQ2 standard or equivalent, including in English and Maths.
  • Keen to learn and able to juggle priorities effectively, often with conflicting demands.
  • Caring and helpful and able to work as part of a team.
  • Customer focused and has a can do attitude.
