Wall Colmonoy are currently recruiting a Customer Service Representative.


Reporting to:
Purchasing Manager


This is a key role in the organisation to ensure that goods and services are supplied to the business in a timely and cost-effective manner.

There is daily interaction with other departments and external suppliers.


Responsibilities:


  • Raise and process purchase requisitions.
  • Create purchase orders.
  • Accept deliveries and process goods received notes.
  • Supplier benchmarking and negotiation i.e., price, lead times and payment terms
  • Follow up overdue deliveries.
  • Source parts and services.
  • Conduct cost negotiations.
  • Contribute to the management of inventory.
  • Perform adhoc reporting.
  • Participate in general office administration including telephone answering.

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, administrative position or procurement and sourcing is preferred and would be advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Ability to manage a variable workload.
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and propose improvement ideas.

Hours of work: 38 hours per week

Monday to Thursday

Friday

30 minutes unpaid lunch daily

Salary dependent on experience


Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 12 months


Pay:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
